Process to Apply for New Electricity Connection
A. To apply for New Electricity Connection, application has been divided into two steps viz Site Inspection and Estimation Service and Metering & Releasing of Connection Service.
Step 1- Submit Site Inspection and Estimation related details. Select Site Inspection and Estimation Service option from Select Service Name dropdown and fill the details required in application form and submit Processing Fee online to obtain NOC regarding site feasibility. Department will then, inspect your site regarding its feasibility and upload the status accordingly. If site is found feasible then you will have to submit below details and if infeasible then your application will be rejected.
Step 2- Submit Metering & Releasing of Connection related details. If your site is found feasible for electricity connection, select Metering & Releasing of Connection Service option from Select Service Name dropdown, pay the Estimated Cost specified by the department and submit Work Completion & other details required in application form. After submission of relevant information in application, department will approve it and metering will be done connection will be released.
